Kroo Pro ("we", "us") is a team management service for professional sailing teams. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number and password (stored securely by our authentication provider).
- Team and profile information you or your team managers add: role, position, photo, sex, weight, clothing sizes, and boat assignments.
- Team content: events, schedules, documents, maintenance and service requests, inventory, chat messages, surveys and photos you upload.
- Billing information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers; we keep only a customer and subscription reference and the number of seats.
- Basic technical data such as device type and error logs needed to operate the service.
How we use information
- To provide and operate Kroo Pro for your team, including sending invitations, alerts and survey emails.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Who can see your information
Information you add to a team is visible to that team's members according to their role (for example, only managers can see certain settings). We use trusted service providers to run the service: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments) and Google (email delivery). They process data only on our behalf.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app: open your profile from the Roster and choose "Delete my account". This permanently deletes your login and profile. If you own a team, the team and all of its data are deleted and its subscription is cancelled. You can also request deletion by emailing us at the address below.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access to team data is restricted by role. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Kroo Pro is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
